NYC Florist: Floral Studio's Pilgrimage to Holland

Each year, we have the pleasure of traveling to Holland where we are awe inspired to bring back fresh horticultural ideas. Whether designing fresh flower arrangements for personal or corporate events, it is our goal to provide quality and variety in our floral style. As a Manhattan florist, we feel that our journey to Holland each year allows us to offer a fresh approach to our customers. Our floral pilgrimage began at the world’s premiere flower auction at Aalsmeer. Each day, the auction showcases the freshest blooms to be shipped around the world. This video on YouTube will provide you with a taste of what the Floral Studio founder, Thomas Lewis experienced at Aalsmeer. Being a Manhattan florist, and living in New York the flower auction at Aalsmeer gives us the opportunity to see first hand the colorful new ideas for spring and summer fresh flower arrangements. We return with images of excitingly different ideas for wedding arrangements and urban gardens.

The cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Utrecht are considered to be the floral centers of the Netherlands, and the world. Points of interest included the worlds only floating flower market in Amsterdam, created by a series of barges tied together, an incredible site to see. Rotterdam and Utrecht are known for producing millions of bulbs each year.

The goal of our annual pilgrimage is to further expand our floral knowledge and expose Floral Studio to new ideas that will help us to be your premiere New York City florist, passing on beauty and inspiration through our corporate, special event, wedding arrangements, urban garden design, and NYC flower delivery services.
